Hyde Park Comfort Near Rookwood

Positives: Very clean, very spacious, extremely attentive and responsive hostNegatives: Something went wrong with the heat while we were there and the unit couldn't maintain a temp above 65 degrees during a cold spell in Cincy. Credit to the host that they were very easy to work with, and refunded our last 2 nights when we moved to a hotel. Even if there was no problem with the heat, it is an old building and very drafty. Other minor drawbacks: We had scheduled for 4 guest and got 3 bath towels...not nearly enough. Went out and bought some towels. Also, very light on pots and pans if someone wants to cook. Finally, we had two cars and managed to park but one of the two nights we were there it was not easy... oversold the ease of parking a bit.

We arrived Tuesday evening to discover that unit was without power (through no fault of owner). Communication-with and intervention-from the team was swift and thoughtful and they were able to get power restored by morning. Property is tidy and very well-located making for a convenient and enjoyable stay for our small group (3 adults and small dog). Well recommended and would happily book again on return visit.

This place is absolutely fantastic! The pictures are accurate, but really don't do it justice. My 3 & 6 year old were with me, my sister and dad on this trip and I felt confident that they were safe, and the place is pretty child proof, I only had to move a few items. The owners are incredibly responsive and kind, they even shipped my pillow back to me and were not rude when I explained how my 3 yr old packed their remote in my sister's bag. Perfect location for Cincinnati, everything is so close, safe neighborhood if you're looking to walk. Parking was the only slight inconvenience bc I have young kids (and all the stuff), wouldn't be a problem if they were a few years older, but I am certain we'll be staying here again and again!
